I Knew a Man Who Lived in Hell

This little story in rhyme has been around for years. I would give attribution to the author except I’ve never discovered who came up with it. Tell me if this little story/verse resonnates with you:

I knew a man who lived in Hell,

he lived in Hell, yes, he lived in Hell.

Oh he could leave any time he liked

but he never did. No, he never did.

He knew all of the names of the streets so well.

So tell me: how does this little story hit you?
