During this final week before Christmas give a gift to someone unexpected. Find a stranger—anyone at random, and give a gift. It may be to purchase the groceries of the person behind you at the store, or a meal for the person behind you at the drive through window. Perhaps there is a homeless person you see regularly but haven’t helped before. Help this person.

Resolve in the coming year to help people randomly—at least once a month, until it becomes a habit.
