February 4 Psalm Readings

The challenge is not to study these psalms. The challenge is to pray them throughout the day. The book of Psalms has been called the Prayer Book of IsraelThe Prayer Book of the Messiah, The Prayer Book of the Church, and even the Songbook of the Church.

Allow the book of Psalms to function in this way for you. I do not suggest that you supplant your personal prayers with the Psalms, instead I suggest you incorporate the Psalms in your discipline of prayer.

Morning:                             Psalm 4

Mid-morning:                    Psalm 35

Noon:                                   Psalm 66

Afternoon (supper):        Psalm 96

Night:                                   Psalm 128
