Darryl has been working in non-profit organizations for several years. He is currently employed by an international non-profit that serves Eastern Europe. His work takes him to Ukraine several times a year where he has fallen in love with the country and the people.
Darryl received his Masters Degree from Lipscomb University in 1996. In addition to his academic training he has completed course work in Critical Incident Stress Management, Reality Therapy/Choice Theory, Police and Victim Chaplaincy, and Red Cross Shelter Management. He served as part of Dallas Area Critical Response Team, a CISM debriefing team servicing first responders in the Metroplex.
Darryl’s hobbies include storytelling performances, writing and reading poetry, music (guitar and singing), walking, and reading. His poetry has been published in a variety of online and print journals and he has performed in various storytelling venues across the South.
Darryl is married and has two daughters.
