Darryl has been working in non-profit organizations for several years. He is currently employed by an international non-profit that serves Eastern Europe, the Balkans, and other regions including Greece, Cyprus, and Kazakhstan. He travels internationally and throughout the United States on a regular basis.
Darryl received his Masters Degree from Lipscomb University in 1996. In addition to his academic training he has completed course work in Critical Incident Stress Management, Reality Therapy/Choice Theory, Police and Victim Chaplaincy, and Red Cross Shelter Management. He served as a police chaplain and part of Dallas Area Critical Response Team, a CISM debriefing team servicing first responders in the Metroplex.
Darryl’s hobbies include storytelling performances, writing and reading poetry, music (guitar and singing), walking, and reading. His poetry has been published in a variety of online and print journals and he has performed in various storytelling venues across the South.
Darryl is married and has two adult children.
